just a few days ago, i returned from guatemala, the ancient mayan world.
a group of 22 weber state students and two teachers, we aided indigenous
women plan, organize and execute a small business with hopes to remove
them from poverty. additionally, natural disasters struck and we spent
many hours cleaning mud-filled homes. we were also featured in local
newspaper. check it out! the signpost and the standard-examiner.
